Pickleball near Country Club, Florida
Country Club is a Miami-Dade community next to Miami Lakes and close to Miami Gardens, giving local players several public pickleball options within a short drive. State Senator Oscar Braynon II Park at Rolling Oaks has public pickleball courts in Miami Gardens, and Miami Lakes Optimist Park adds public pickleball courts just south of Country Club.
Players looking for another nearby option can also use the pickleball courts at Buccaneer Park in Miami Gardens. Organized schedules are limited at these locations, so players arriving alone should confirm current activity before making a trip specifically to find partners.
Where to Play Pickleball near Country Club
- State Senator Oscar Braynon II Park at Rolling Oaks, 1317 NW 183rd St., Miami Gardens. This public park is just east of Country Club and lists pickleball courts among its amenities. The facility also has restrooms, parking, tennis courts, a walking trail, outdoor fitness equipment, and a welcome center. Posted hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No admission fee is listed. Check Rolling Oaks park information.
- Buccaneer Park, 20601 NW 32nd Ave., Miami Gardens. This public park is north of Country Club and has separate outdoor pickleball courts across the street from the main recreation facility. The City lists pickleball court hours from 8:00 AM to sunset every day. Restrooms and parking are available at the park. Call Miami Gardens Parks and Recreation at (305) 622-8080 with current court-access questions. Check Buccaneer Park information.
- Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 NW 162nd St., Miami Lakes. This is outside Country Club and provides another useful public option. The Town of Miami Lakes confirms that pickleball courts are available to the public at Optimist Park. The pickleball facilities were expanded with new courts opened in 2025. The park also has tennis, basketball, walking paths, parking, and other recreation facilities. Check Miami Lakes Optimist Park information.
Getting Started
Miami Lakes Optimist Park is worth checking first for beginner programming. The Town has used its pickleball courts for instructional clinics, including a free clinic held when the expanded courts opened. Current classes can change by season, so check the Miami Lakes Parks and Recreation information for current pickleball programming.
Miami Gardens also lists pickleball among its athletic programs. Contact Parks and Recreation at (305) 622-8080 and ask about current beginner or organized sessions near Country Club before attending. For individual instruction, use this site's Coaches section.
Open Play and Organized Pickleball
Miami Gardens maintains public pickleball courts at Rolling Oaks and Buccaneer Park, though the City does not publish a standing weekly open-play rotation for either location. These courts are most predictable when you arrange partners or confirm current local play before going.
Miami Lakes Optimist Park has also been used for organized pickleball. The Town previously established weekday open play at the park and has since expanded the pickleball facilities. Because programming can change, use the current Miami Lakes Parks and Recreation information or call (305) 364-6100 before planning around an organized session.
Visiting Country Club and Looking for a Game?
Rolling Oaks is a simple nearby public option if you already have partners. It has City-listed pickleball courts, parking, restrooms, and long operating hours. Buccaneer Park provides another Miami Gardens option, with its pickleball courts open daily from 8:00 AM to sunset.
If finding other players is more important than staying as close as possible to Country Club, check Miami Lakes Optimist Park before your visit. The Town has hosted open play and instructional pickleball there, though you should confirm the current schedule rather than relying on a previous season's playing times.
